A newborn portrait session is a wonderful way to be able to revisit, and re-live those precious first weeks. Our style
Your session will be both luxurious and unique. My goal is to create a relaxed and inviting environment for you and your family. You can trust in my eye for capturing the perfection and essence of your new family member in their first few days of life.
SCHEDULING
The perfect time for newborn portraits are within the first 6-14 days of life. The timing of your sessions, will of course, depend on many factors. I aim to accommodate all of my clients in any way possible to insure that your session is scheduled a soon as you are able. While 6-14 days old is idea, we have accommodated babies as old as 6 weeks on many occasions. So, rest assured that we will find a way to make this work for you.
WHAT TO WEAR
We have a wide selection of blankets, wraps, bonnets and other adorable props. If you have a particular style in mind, I will work with you ahead of the shoot to guide you in finding the clothing that best suits your style preference. For the parents, we will also provide many sample photos, and style recommendations as well.
HOW LONG WILL YOUR
SESSION LAST?
Sessions normally last around 2-3 hours in length. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of time for nursing and soothing as well. You will not be rushed, my goal is to create a relaxed and welcoming environment for you and your family. I want this to be a memorable and wonderful experience for you from beginning to end. I will patiently work with you and your family and treat your baby with the love and care I would my own.
Before
The Session
We will be speaking on more than one occasion ahead of your photo shoot. I will be showing you all of the props, clothing, colors, and more ahead of the session. We will be speaking the night before, and the morning of as well. You will never have to worry, I will be with you every step of the way.
ARTISTIC EDITING
Your final images will be individually edited with our natural style of editing. We will be adjusting white balance, extending backdrops, retouching of skin, blemish correction, and other edits that will insure your photos look their best.
Our Newborn Portrait Studio
All sessions are performed in our Mineola NY studio. Our studio is specially equipped with an array of props, clothes, professional lighting and more to insure beautiful memories for you and your family.
